A marching snare drum head, made from Kevlar, introduced in the early 1990's as an alternative to the Falam.

The weaving process and thickness of the Kevlar in the Tendura were more advanced and more health-conscious than in the Kevlar. The head had more give, better response, and higher tension capabilities than Falams.

Tendura are still in use today. They were originally manufactured by Premiere Drums.
