Defunct Seattle indierock/folk/punk band featuring Jen Wood on guitars and vocals and Madigan Shive on guitar, cello, and vocals. Their music was intense, haunting, political, quiet, loud.... Their shows were often plagued by technical difficulties, due to using cantankerous acoustic instruments, but their voices more than made up for any problems they had. They complemented each other beautifully in ways that were not totally apparent until they split up and began working on solo projects -- Jen Wood's solo work tends to be pretty, but rather vague and uninspiring, which Madigan's solo work and her project Bonfire Madigan tends to be excessively noisy and anti-melodic. Together they had moments of inspiring beauty.

A Tattle Tale song is featured rather prominently in the film But I'm a Cheerleader.
