Subgud was first noticed when they contributed to the Seigmen EP "Hjernen Er Alene" in 1994. Subgud then went on to create their first album "Museum", released in January 1996 on the Sony-label 1:70. The EP "Hverdagslige Detonasjoner" (Everyday Detonations) followed later in 1996. Another album followed in January 1998, "Magnet". On this album the vocals are much more featured, especially on the songs Bubka and Time Maskin. Xpander was released in October 2001, featuring the vocals of Kari Slaatsveen.
