Not-ready-for-prime-time Linux distribution, aka the
Rain release. Although not completely primitive, the installer isn't much less friendly than
Red Hat 5.2. Video hardware detection was fairly bad, giving me only a blurry 640x480 on a 17" on which other distros managed to establish a rock-solid 800x600 or even (in the case of
SuSE 6.4) 1024x768. Much like with the
Corel Linux distro, both your initial BIOS screen and LILO (if it's even being used) are masked by Storm's cutesy little 'Choose your OS' GUI splash screen.
Puke.
Linux may someday be ready for the desktop. This ain't it.
