According to Roach,

"With each project, a sense of adventure is felt along with an excitement of the unknown that pulls me in time after time. It's a process that is constantly renewing itself, and throughout this renewal, I feel more inspiration over time. Hopefully as an artist matures throughout life, his/her work reflects this. It's like breathing, all you can do is go with it."

For each new album he searches for new sounds that connect with an ancient source of truth in this ever changing world.

Roach's music has been featured in a number of movies, including Rapa Nui, 187 and Heat.

Steve "Blocker" Roach is a retired rubgy league player, who used to play for the Balmain Tigers, in Australia. He played in the front row and developed quite a reputation as a menacing player to try to tackle.
