Stateside is
canuckian argot for the
United States. Generally used in casual conversation to refer to the
states as a destination, most commonly for short trips:
Example(s)
"I'm heading stateside for the weekend, visiting family in
Boston."
"This nice man is giving me $200 to take this
duffel bag stateside!"
"The
Leafs are stateside for a three game
roadtrip."
I suppose it's canadian equivalent would be
provinceside, but I don't think that will enter common usage anytime soon.
