Spike Tape is a technical theater tool. Spikes are marks put on a stage so that the running crew, (people dressed in black who move set peices) can find where there set peices are supposed to go in the dark. Spike Tape is actually Gaff Tape, only it comes in strips that are narrower, and it comes in vibrant colors so strips of it can be seen on a stage of any color. When taken off the stage they leave no mark of being there, making this tape a techies dream tape.
