This delicious recipe will feed five people for about $5. Seriously. You’ll need:

  • 2 cans of Spam
  • 2 cans of cream style corn
  • crackers, Ritz or Saltine (this is optional)
  • 1/2 cup milk (optional as well)

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Crunch up the crackers to little bits and mix with the creamed corn, then spread this mixture into a large casserole dish. Next, slice your cubes of Spam into 1/4 inch slices and layer into and on top of the the corn. Then pour the milk over the top of everything. Put the dish into the oven for 15 or 20 minutes, or until the corn is bubbling and the top of the spam looks browned.

The crackers help to give the creamed corn some body, and the milk’s duty is to soak into the cracker bits to beef them up and also to brown the top of the entree. But if you don’t have these last two items, make spam and corn anyway. It should come out pretty decent.
