Sodium Cyanide (NaCN) is provided in a briquette or “pillow” form. Commonly used in metal extraction, ore floatation, and electroplating applications, extreme caution should be exercised in handling, keeping the product dry and separated from any acids, due to the liberation of highly toxic and flammable hydrogen cyanide gas.
