SMALL CAPS (in typesetting) refers to the use of scaled-down capital letters to replace lowercase letters in text. The small caps letters are usually between 50 and 65 percent of the height of the full caps letters, much like the standard height ratio between uppercase and lowercase letters.

The use of small caps has been blamed for the incorrect interpretation of the name Unix as UNIX.

As per a suggestion by abiessu, small caps can be emulated on E2 by typing the entire word or phrase in capital letters, and then surrounding the normally lowercase letters with the and tags. If you choose to instead magnify the capital letters with you will most likely need to do it twice to make the differentiation apparent, as I did at the top of this WU.
