Again, slainte is a Gaelic toast that means "good health."
Slainte, a Seattle based band, play Irish and Irish-American folk music. In particular they have, to my ear, lovely renditions of the classics Star of the County Down and Wild Mountain Thyme, among others.
They are the third highest earners on mp3.com to date (16.08.2001).
Of particular note is their fiddle player, Anthea Lawrence, who also has music on mp3.com. Enjoy.
