This is a type of
SCSI bus. Until recently (1997 and further), were single-ended
devices. These devices are limited to using the now-antiquated
SCSI-1, or Narrow SCSI,
protocol that only allows for a 6 meter cable length. Single-Ended devices today are mostly limited to various older
CD-ROM's.
