neighbor on
The Simpsons. Shelbyville was partners with
Jebediah Springfield during the long march to find a better life. Things became tense, however, when Shelbyville proclaimed the reason he was along on the journey was because he wanted to found a town where people could
marry their
attractive cousins. When
Springfield set him straight on the real reason for the journey, Shelbyville and half of the colonists seperated to found their own town.
Today Shelbyville Manhattan is remembered with a memorial statue in the center of Shelbyville depicting him with his arms around two of his attractive female cousins.
