Also known as Khajih Abdu'llah, Shaykh Abu Isma'il Abdu'llah Ansari of Hirat was an 11th century Sufi leader and poet. Born in 458AH/1006AD and descended from the Prophet's companion Abu Ayyub he is chiefly known for his poetical works Ruba'iyyat (Quatrains) and his major work, Munajat (Supplications). He passed away in 480AH/1088AD.
