An annual event, begun in Texas in 1990, involving groups of high school students gathering around the school's flag pole for a prayer meeting. There are now other activities held in conjunction with it. It was championed (or co-opted) early on, by the elders of Christianityism, such as Pat Robertson, as an "act of protest" against the "illegality" of prayer in schools; of course, there has never been any law prohibiting activities like SYATP - but many principals, at first, didn't know that.
