Santana

Rock band, named after and usually led by Carlos Santana, who with various lineups have been recording since the late 60s, with intermittent hit singles. One of the first and only rock bands to mix Latin music into rock (and jazz, and whatever took their fancy). Probably best known for their cover of "Black Magic Woman," which is hard to believe was originally done by an early version of Fleetwood Mac.

The Volkswagen Santana is the most popular sedan auto in Shanghai, China, comprising at least 70% of the automobiles and 99 percent of all the taxis on the road. This may not sound like much, but as most of the cars in Shanghai are taxis anyway, the Santana is totally ubiquitous. It is really striking to see 50 or 60 cars stopped at a big traffic light and every one of them is a Santana taxi

The Santana looks like a Jetta, except the hood and trunk are longer. Usually the Santana is available only as a standard-shift model. They get decent mileage and performance, although some drivers complain that they wear out quickly.
