Sanseverino (full name: Stéphane Sanseverino) is a French musician and singer. We can reasonably infer that his name comes from his Napolitan grand-parents.

Born in 1962, he spent most of his childhood travelling with his family, which seems to have greatly opened his spirit. He started playing music in his late twenties and released his first solo album "Le Tango des Gens" in 2001.

His second album "Les Sénégalaises" has been released in 2004. Both albums have sold very well, especially for a new artist.

Sanseverino writes funny, ironic and poetic lyrics. His music is a good modern version of Django Reinhardt's style with plenty of acoustic guitars, violins and piano. His voice is soft and he often sings very quickly.
