SETI Driver is a wonderful program written by Mike Ober meant to be used in conjunction with the
command line client of the
SETI@Home program.
Its most useful feature is the ability to cache work units so that you don't have to contact the server every time you finish processing a work unit. Other features include the ability to easily configure SETI to run on multiple processors and the ability to send completed work units to the server while other work units are being processed. It can be linked up with SETI Spy for more accurate estimation of the total time it will take to complete the current work unit. It also creates CSV files that can be used by SETIWatch and other programs that support the CSV standard.
Despite the fact it is a Windows application, SETI Driver is distributed under the GNU license and therefore the source code is freely available.
I recommend SETI Driver to those who run Windows and are members of SETI@Home.
