Town of about 25,000 in the western portion of
Arkansas. It sits on the
Arkansas River. County seat of Pope County.
Home to Arkansas Tech University, a 6,000 student state funded liberal arts college.
Russellville resides in a dry county and if you want to buy any alcohol you must drive about 20 minutes to a small town known as Blackwell.
Rusellville is also home to the only nuclear power plant in the State, Arkansas Nuclear One (owned by Entergy).
