The title of an excellent 1988 film by Sidney Lumet about the Popes (played by Christine Lahti and Judd Hirsch), who've been living on the run after protest-bombing a napalm factory during the Vietnam war. For years they've had to move and change identities on a regular basis. Meanwhile, their eldest son Danny (River Phoenix) is growing up and wants to be a musician. He's offered a course of study - and also falls in love - but staying in the town will result in imprisonment for his parents..
Typically for Lumet the characterisation and acting are brilliant, and the politics intelligently handled. It's thoughtful and tender without sentimentality, and well worth seeing.
