Ruby Slipper

Gently decant 4 to 4-1/2 ounces of champagne into a flute
Add:
3/4 ounce Chambord
3/4 ounce peach schnapps
Garnish with a twist of lemon

This fizzy, fruity, uptown girl libation was invented by Portland, Oregon bartender Matthew Meskel around St. Valentine's Day 2000, for a customer at the Brasserie Montmartre who wanted something a little sweeter and fruitier than the standard Cham-cham.

For those who find the peach schnapps a little overwhelming, the Ruby Slipper can alternately be made with 1 ounce Chambord and a splash of peach schnapps to taste.
