World famous 6'7'' drag queen born RuPaul Andre Charles in New Orleans in 1960. Ru came to national attention with the release of his album Supermodel of the World in 1992. Ru has appeared in a number of movies in and out of drag including Spike Lee's Crooklyn and Wayne Wang's Blue in the Face. He is also a sometimes spokesmodel for MAC cosmetics.
