digital sequencer released in
1985.
The MSQ-100 is a newer version of the
MSQ-700. The
editing features are improved with the possibility to
erase individual
events as well as all events after a selected point.
However, the 100 has several downsides. There is no DCB and no
tape sync, and the
user interface is regarded as being inferior to the 700 model.
Many current MSQ-100 users are utilizing it as a
MIDI-to-sync converter for the popular
x0x line
synths.
