When an object is spatially oriented so that its base is below its top vertically, it can be said to be right side up. Similarly, if a person is face up they may be deemed right side up and if face down, upside down or wrong side up. Here is where it gets tricky as wrong side up and wrong side down are synonymous. Likewise, right side up does indeed mean right side down.
