Rick Mauer

Rick Mauer was a game programmer in the classic Atari 2600 era. He produced games under the Sears and Atari labels. Rick is best known for his work on Space Invaders (which was the killer app for Atari in the late 70's). Rick left Atari after he was paid only $11,000 for a game that sold over a million copies (this is considered to be one of Atari's bigger scandals/secrets).
