Poetry isn't my talent, but I'm trying... I was inspired to write this after watching the movie Ever After
Rhymes With Bite
It may have been a beautiful day
And it may be a beautiful night
But without you here
Nothing can seem right
I miss you in my arms
I crave you in my sight
When you are not here
It can never look bright
My heart feels empty
My breath constricted and tight
For you are my love
And my guiding light
Your touch sends me flying
To a great new height
When your skin touches mine
My heart soars higher than any kite
I wish to awaken from this nightmare
Feeling a sudden fright
And then look at you
Knowing everything is quite right
For now, I close my tired eyes
And wish with all of my might
That you will return soon
And in my heart, end this fight
