Quadrans Muralis, the Mural Quadrant, is a constellation that is no
longer officially recognized. It was invented by Lalande in 1795. It
used to be situated just to the north of Böotes ("between the right
foot of Hercules, the left hand of Böotes, and Draco"). However
the name does still lives on thanks to a famous

meteor stream that radiates from this area on Jan 2nd
and 3rd is still called the Quadrantids.
