Quadra is a unique twist on the game Tetris. Players place falling blocks in the same manner as in Tetris, clearing lines, but that is where the similarities end. In Quadra, lines can be cleared recursively by the block pieces resting above a cleared line. It is possible to score a chain reaction of lines, which is how the most points are scored. The current version is 1.1.8, and is available for Windows and Linux at quadra.sourceforge.net. Quadra is also playable as a multi-player game. Players can either connect through a LAN, share one computer, or connect through the Internet.

Family name for the series of Apple Macintosh desktop computers based on the Motorola 68040 CPU.

Generally speaking, models which bore the Quadra name were shipped with a 68040 that included a floating-point unit (FPU), while models with the FPUless 68LC040 bore "Performa" or "LC" designations.
