So what the hell is/was psicom you ask? Well, it was Perry Farrell's first band way back in the early 80's. Influenced by such bands as Bauhaus, they only ended up releasing one album before dissolving. You can tell Perry's vocal range is developing in this band, and when he hits the high notes it's pretty spooky. This one off album is pretty cool and shows the influences of the time as well as signs of things to come with Jane's Addiction being formed only a few years later. Songs on this album include: Ho Ka Hey, Human Condition, Xiola, City of 9 Gates, and Winds. Find it on CD and if you're a fan of early 80's goth/etc, you will be pleasantly surprised. The cover was done by Perry himself as usual.
