The
act of pouring out a
drink, usually of
alcohol, for a
departed friend. Usually done with a drink the friend liked.
An
example of this is in the
game Chrono Trigger for
Super Nintendo, in
600 AD,
Toma gives you some of his "
Pop" (
Sake) to pour over his
grave in the future to reveal the location of a
great treasure. You jump ahead to
1000 AD, and pour the "Pop" on to his grave, and his
ghost appears and tells you the location of the isle that contains the
Rainbow Shell in 600 AD.
