Someone who is joining (pledging) a fraternity. See also: Pledging is different at every college and in every fraternity. Each fraternity chapter has their own traditions and a unique pledge, or new member, program.

Pledging a fraternity can and should be a great experience. The key to choosing a fraternity is to find a group of people who share your values, ideals, and goals. When you become a pledgee, you aren't giving up anything. All you're doing is committing your time to meet the current members and become a part of their organization.

I promise that it will be the greatest experience of your life. I recommend anyone who is considering joining a fraternity read this page: http://www.geocities.com/dougsmithtraining/pledging.html
