Perrier Comedy awards is one of the most prestigious awards in the UK comedy scene (now with the extra "Best Newcomer Award"), with a
prize of one big shiny
trophy, £5000 cash, and a spot headlining
The Perrier Pick Of The Fringe Shows in
London’s
West End with the Perrier Award Shortlist. All of the acts are judged whilst performing at the
Edinburgh Fringe Festival. Winning either of the awards is almost guarenteed to catapult the winner to
fame and fortune
