Peach Fuzz {Atlanta, Georgia}

As I bit into a peach
the juice flowed over my lips
and my time down south splashed
there wasn't much
in the people
I mean
and the closest I could get to humanity
was the black beggar in Atlanta
who told me how to get away
and onto the expressway
then he asked for some change
before I ran out of gas
I wanted him to jump in my truck
whiter than my skin
with my dog and luggage and love
I wanted to take him
where we could all feel
something.

Also:

The common name for the early pubescent facial hair that adorns many teenage boys. Most of the time, they are quite aware of the short, clear fuzz on their face, but too lazy to to do anything about it.
