Painda Khan Mohaamedzai. Head of the Barakzai branch of the Durrani tribe. Father of Dost Mohammed. Supported Zaman Shah in his bid to become ruler of Afghanistan, and was later executed by Zaman Shah. His oldest son, Fateh Khan, escaped and later returned to help Mahmud Shah, Zaman Shah's son, depose Zaman.
