PL/I

This is the genealogy of the programming language PL/I:

PL/I is a child of Fortran, Cobol and Algol.
PL/I was born in year 1964.
Then it begat PL/M in year 1972.
It became PL/I ANS in year 1976, and has not changed much since that time.
