Now here's an interesting one. Established by the
Supreme Soviet during the
Great Patriotic War, this one was given to...mothers? Yup! Since the
USSR lost many men during WW2, mothers who brought many children into the world were thanked greatly for boosting the nation's population (and thus it's workforce).
Consists of a metal white and light blue ribbon, hanging from this in a mother with child standing above flowers, to her right is a red banner and a shield labled CCCP.
