The ohm is the SI unit for resistance. Its symbol is the uppercase Greek letter omega, Ω.

But in this node, we don't care too much for the scientific merit of the ohm. We don't care to measure the resistance of wires and appliances and such. We care for the witty puns one can make using the letter Ω and the name of unit that bears it. May the fun begin!

What's this one? It looks like an ohm in motion!

```   ---   * *
---  *     *
--- *       *
---  *     *
****   ****
O     O
```

That's right! It's a mobile ohm! All right, moving along.

And this one? It seems a bunch of omegas have spelled out F dot d.

```ΩΩΩΩ       Ω
Ω          Ω
ΩΩΩ  Ω  ΩΩΩΩ
Ω      Ω   Ω
Ω       ΩΩΩΩ
```

Those of you with physics knowledge might know that the dot product of force and distance gives the change in energy, or work. So this one is ohm work!

This ohm is just way too hip. Look at his sunglasses! He might have to free some squares.

```          ********
************
'***        ***'
**'* **    ** *'**
****'****--****'****
****   **    **   ****
****              ****
****   ********   ****
****   *HHHH*   ****
****   ****   ****
****        ****
**********        **********
**********        **********
```

Yeah, you know it. This one's a cool ohm.

This particular ohm looks like it's sitting on a stove.

```                Ω Ω
**********Ω*****Ω************
*  O   O Ω   2:00Ω   O   O  *
**********Ω*****Ω************
*         ΩΩΩΩ   ΩΩΩΩ       * *
*****************************   *
*                           *   *
*   *********************   *   *
*   *                   *   *   *
*   *   ************    *   *   *
*   *                   *   *   *
*   *                   *   *   *
*   *                   *   *   *
*   *                   *   *   *
*   *                   *   *   *
*   *********************   *   *
*                           * *
*****************************
```

This turns out to be a drawing of an ohm on the range.

When sharing these, be sure to choose your audience wisely. You might encounter a bunch of resistance telling these to individuals who don't like physics. In a high school physics classroom, joule have to expend less energy in the same amount of time finding someone who watts to hear these.
