I was cruising through the internet and stumbled across some photos that my kid has on her iphoneogram page. While many of them caught my attention one in particular jumped out at me. It was titled “The chosen ones” and it depicts some books that (I think) adorn her dorm room at the University of Cincinnati that brought a smile to my face.

I’m sure her mom also had something to do with it but I think one of my proudest achievements as her father was instilling in her a passion for reading and for words. It will serve her well as the years go by.
Honey, if you read this, thanks for dropping in on me this weekend and keep doing what you’re doing and you’ll be better than fine.
I take a certain delight as I thanked God when I didn’t see Fifty Shades of Grey anywhere on the list.
