Currently a
republican US senator from
Minnesota and rising star in the republican party. Previously was the popular
mayor of
Saint Paul, MN who was first elected (as a
Democrat) in 1993. Also served as chair for
George W. Bush's campaign in
Minnesota in 2000. In 1998 he ran for
Governor, but lost to
Jesse Ventura.
Senator Coleman was born in Brooklyn, NY. He received his B.A. from Hofstra University. Currently he is married and has two children.
