Area of Osaka known for electronics stores, used power tools, and bunraku theater. There are many hidden delights in this area, including racist curry restaurants, the Hakoniwa Taisen, and free Playstation. Its electronics district, known as Den Den Town, is well-known as the place to bargain down top-of-the-line PDA's, laptops, minidisc players, and cameras.

Nippombashi is located in the Minami (southern) area, just east of Namba on the Osaka City Subway's Sennichimae Line. It is written with the same kanji characters as Tokyo's Nihonbashi district.
