The forerunner of MTV, circa: late 1970's/early 1980's
This weekly late night program featured the most advante garde music videos, ground-breaking animations and slews of cool and/or bizzare film shorts, era-specific cartoons and newsreel clips.

Night Flight was a show that ran on the USA Network in the 80's until the mid-90's. Along with videos, Night Flight featured short subjects ("I Hate My Roommate", "Dynaman", "Street Fighter"), computer animation, etc. Its host for as long as I can remember was a friendly disembodied female voice, and towards the end of its run was hosted by MTV VJ reject Tom Juarez, who I wished was disembodied.
