Is a person from
New York City who feels or just acts like New York is the
center of the universe, while everywhere else is a
swampy
backwater, and the people who live there look and act like
Cletus from
the Simpsons.
Not a horribly important example, but the recent World Series proved this description to a limited extent. New Yorkers where shown discussing the World Series, and commenting on how things had returned to normal since there were two New York teams in the Series. Just to let the New Yorkers out there know:
There are other people in the world. Be nice and treat them with a little respect.
