Algerian politician. Born 1912, died 1967.

In 1954, Khider helped found the FLN (Front de libération nationale), which later the same year embarked upon a bloody war of independence from France.

After Algeria had successfully gained independence in 1962, Khider worked closely with Ahmed Ben Bella. In 1963, he retired as leader of the FLN, and went into exile.
