Popular toy, manufactured by Ronco and sold via television commercials of great cheesiness in the late 1970s through the mid-1980s. Anticipating the karaoke craze, the device was a microphone containing an AM transmitter which would broadcast YOUR VOICE over ANY RADIO! This concept was illustrated most memorably in the commerical by the window man for a carload of groovy-looking young men who, as they cruised past an attractive young woman, boomed out "Hey, good-lookin'! We'll be back to pick you up later!" over the stereo.
