Mr. Lucky is the name of an album by John Lee Hooker from 1991. It is, as always when John Lee Hooker makes an album, excellent blues. I have had it in my collection for a few years, probably from 1991 or 1992, but never opened the inlay card (you know the piece of paper you get in a CD crystal case with the cover artwork on). Until yesterday that is.

I was really surprised to see so many outstanding musicians listed on this album, and that is without stopping it from being all and through John Lee Hooker. Amazing. Anyway, here is the content of the sleeve note for the CD:
