6 a.m.
The moon is setting now
Quietly
No flashy waves of color
She exits without fanfare
So unlike her narcissist cousin

Her movements are more subtle
Leisurely ebb and flows
From full circle to a sliver

Each step a measured stanza
A nocturnal waltz

Moon"set` (?), n.

The descent of the moon below the horizon; also, the time when the moon sets.
