This which led to the way to the ubiquitous adoption of the personal computer as a business tool in the 1980’s. In 1990 he co-founded (with John Perry Barlow) the Electronic Frontier Foundation (EFF). Written pieces on information infrastructure policy, intellectual property issues, and antitrust in the digital era to publications such as Scientific American, The New York Times, Forbes, Communications of the ACM

The Lotus product was sold to the IBM Corporation. Mr. Kapor is now on the board of directors of the Long Now Foundations, the Mozilla Foundation and the Open Source Applications Foundation.
