Millennium Park is (
naturally) a
park and
civic center, located near
Grant Park Chicago on the lakefront of
Lake Michigan. As you might think from the name, it was intended to be built in time for the year 2000, but was actually completed in 2004 at a cost of $470.9 million.
It features large attractions (such as
music &
theatre) at the included
band shell. One of the most famous sculptures at the park is
Cloud Gate, also known as
The Bean, which beautifully reflects the
skyline.
