Migraine Boy" first appeared in 1992 in Seattle's
Hype magazine. Since then, the apoplectic hero has cropped up in
Spy,
Baffler and
The Village Voice. A 1995 collection entitled Migraine Boy's Fairweather Friends featured an intro by
REM's
Michael Stipe, and a series of short cartoons were made for
MTV. Unfortunately, their site (http://www.migraineboy.com) seems to be down at the moment.
