One famous aspect of Dummett's philosophy is his programme of antirealism: i.e. the idea that there are no truths in the world which transcend our capacity to recognise them as true. He has been associated with intuitionism and verificationism as well.
Do not confuse him, as I once did, with Daniel Dennett, a completely different important philosopher.
